<rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" version="2.0"><channel><atom:link rel="hub" href="http://tumblr.superfeedr.com/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom"/><description>we’re re-inventing the book club.</description><title>Kindlegarten</title><generator>Tumblr (3.0; @kindlegarten)</generator><link>http://kindlegarten.tumblr.com/</link><item><title>Duncey post-mortem</title><description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Did anyone identify with Ignatius, or any of the characters?  I mean a lot of them were pretty big caricatures, but they all kind of have problems and qualities that normal people face on a smaller scale.  Ignatius retreats into his own world when he comes across hardships.  His mom has to deal with a big child - and has no idea how to help him.  Mancuso feels and acts like a fool.  Man, this is sounding kind of sad.  Is this a reflection of how I feel? &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;I&amp;#8217;ve historically hated childish characters.  I hated Catcher in the Rye for this reason, and Ignatius was frustrating for similar reasons.  &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;From the covers of the books I had seen, I really secretly wished he had a big bird sidekick.  I was sad that he didn&amp;#8217;t :(&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;I would have really liked to read more about the the college professor.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Umm, Mrs. Levy?  Problems&amp;#8230;?  Mommy problems? &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;More about George!  Also, Jones!&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;I didn&amp;#8217;t like the way it ended, but I guess it was appropriate for the book&amp;#8230; but no spoilers! :)&lt;/li&gt;
